Theatre is alive in Pörsänmäki!

Teatteri Sujo is a contemporary theatre in Pörsänmäki, originally born in an old barn through the efforts of the village community. At Sujo we make bold, experimental art that grows out of the place, the people and the moment.

From the barn to the whole region

A small village. A big stage.

Sujo is more than a barn at the edge of a field. Audiences drive the gravel roads from all over Savo, productions tour every municipality in North Savo, and residency artists arrive from Lapland, Turku and the Helsinki region. See how Sujo moves the region.
