Rakas Eno (Dear Uncle) was a musical version of Anton Chekhov’s classic Uncle Vanya, given a thorough Pörsänmäki makeover and created for the barn theatre in summer 2023. The piece brought together Chekhov’s timeless themes and Upper Savo’s down-to-earth outlook on life, with a touch that was both humorous and moving.
The production was staged at Teatteri Sujo’s barn theatre in Pörsänmäki, and in autumn 2023 it went on to tour towns and villages across Upper Savo.
