Cirque Bono was the residency production of summer 2025, worked on intensively for three weeks in Teatteri Sujo’s barn. Before that, the piece took shape during a residency at Cirko, the Center for New Circus, and in rehearsal periods in Turku and Espoo. The result was a wild, razor-sharp and irresistibly absurd circus dystopia.
Welcome to a hog-wildly funny reality where the boundaries of power, identity and the animal side of human society begin to blur. Make Orwell Great Again is a physical and visual contemporary circus piece in which circus art, live music and imagination merge into a breathtaking spectacle about power.
