Home Sweet Pörsänmäki was staged at Teatteri Sujo’s barn theatre in summer 2022, and later that autumn it went on to tour the Upper Savo region.
The piece explored the theme of home in all its many forms: what home means, what it feels like and how it changes. The story was built on interviews collected from the villagers of Pörsänmäki, woven together with Alice in Wonderland to create an original performance drawing deeply on its local roots.
